    I've spent my teenage years stripping bikes, rebuilding them, fixing them, anything and everything.Long story short: I know my stuff when it comes to bikes! My son's bike had a pedal mechanism issue and I just didn't have the tools nor time to fix it so I brought it to this guy to fix. My son's front tire was still new, but the back one was worn, of course, kids make skids and wear out the back tire as we all did. This was a Saturday and was told that it would be ready by Tuesday or Wednesday, but when I hadn't heard from him the following Friday, I called and left a message. It wasn't until the following Saturday or even Monday that he called to say it was ready, and cost more than what I had been told. When I got home, I noticed that the front tire had been replaced for a worn out one which now matched the back one. The ONLY way that could happen is by deliberately switching the tire, which I know I had never done and my son knows NOTHING about bikes. Changing the pedal mechanism has NOTHING to do with needing to remove the tires, so I know it couldn't be an honest mistake of replacing the wrong tire, that's not what it was there for. This man is a crook, probably didn't think I would noticed, but when you're as detailed as I am, that's not something you miss! I'm assuming this has happened to others without them even noticing, but I did and I have no reason or purpose to write this for no reason. I wanted to return to him and confront him about it, but I've been so busy and now it's been two months or so, so it would defeat the purpose to go now. I wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone, unless you want your bike "downgraded" so he can replenish his stock of tires or whatever else! THIS GUY IS A CROOK!
