  A shell of its former self, Baker Street is in the power position with a very loyal following, which as a result affords them the opportunity to simply be weaker at what they once accomplished at a much higher level.

  Baker street at one point in time WAS the best breakfast shop in town, but since they've managed to reach such a high level of notoriety throughout Ottawa, they've declined noticeably across the board (i.e. quality of service, quality of food, and overall quality of experience).

  We have been going to this Gem for almost 12 years now and don't miss a weekly visit! Best portion to money ratio! Real bone in ham and full Italian sausages as your meat choice! Al, Tara, and the owner George are all extremely talented in customer communications and deliver an amazing experience every single visit. Please visit and bring out of town guests. Let's keep this local business thriving so that we can enjoy it for years to come!

  One of my fave brunches in Ottawa! Be prepared to wait 15-30+ min. Very unhurried vibes. Great decor, hearty portion sizes, sweet and savory options. Can't go wrong with a grilled cinnamon bun! If you're lucky, you'll get the table with the couches.

  The food here was simply amazing! The portions are huge and it is well worth every penny! Our server was so helpful since it was our first time and I couldn’t have been more satisfied! 10/10 would recommend!

  Nice cozy place where you can expect to get a delicious home cooked breakfast. Continuously changing specials, fresh bread, fresh fruits, and large portions makes breakfast at this place so satisfying. My only complaints is the wait to get in on weekends is ridiculous. It was not fun waiting outside for an hour with a 3yr old. The service was also pretty slow, although the staff themselves were pretty nice.

  Try Royals out in Richmond...a much better alternative in my personal opinion.
