The ube epspressos were done well here in my opinion even though it was our first time trying those at all. The service was friendly and the corny ass jokes the old man behind the counter kept serving us reminded me of my annoying Titos back home but nonetheless a chill place that I wouldn't mind coming back to again.

Love these guys. Good solid Filipino food served fresh and hot. A cute place and great for a lunch date. Clean and welcoming, the staff are as warm as expected and truly treat you with the honest Filipino hospitality....go and try it out!

Been there twice. Cosy vibe, friendly and obliging staff, really great coffee and tea, generous portions, and creative deserts. I find the desserts a bit sweet for my taste, but I suppose that's just a matter of personal preference. I will definitely be going back to sample their lunch dishes, which look good.

For dessert, an ube cookie which was the last one and actually yummy. Then, the red velvet oreo and pandan cake. The red velvet oreo was by far my favourite aside from the ube espresso, and the pandan cake was okay to me. It was flavoured nicely but pandan isn't my go-to. I'd recommend this place if you're in the Ottawa area and looking for a nice spot to try out.

This quaint spot is on Fourth Ave, just a few steps off Bank street. The owner is incredibly friendly and the service is efficient. With red brick and wooden walls, big windows and bright coloured art, the ambiance is cheerful and relaxed. The food is a mixture of Filipino and classic Cafe offerings, along with a nice breakfast menu. I had the veggie crepe with peanut sauce and a latte, along with a table to myself on a Saturday. Whether you're looking for lunch, or just a nice spot to have a coffee and do some work, this is definitely my go to!

Truthfully I didn't find the food had any authentic Filipino flavour - I ordered the grilled chicken chicken but it was more blandly grilled chicken with veggies and rice if anything. It wasn't hearty - more like a hint. Unfortunately they didn't have their kare kare during this season, but we also ordered the mechado, which was done a little bit better. The grilled adobo was $15 and the mechado, $16.25

Friend staff and great food. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food that they give you. I will definitely come back when I'm near the area :)
