  If I could give a higher rating, I would. Not only did these guys take me in for my emergency during their busy winter tire season, Takashi and his team really thought outside the box in fixing my car that other mechanics would not touch. They were very communicative about what they found and how they fixed, and I found their prices were very reasonable. I will go back here for my next annoying car problem (or any car stuff in general). Thank you Takaki Auto!

  Takeshi might not remember me but he fixed a wiring problem on my 01 Honda Prelude about 3-4 years ago. The issue hasn't come back since. I got nowhere with my usual mechanic and the dealer shrugged their shoulders and gave me amassive labour invoice with no result. Takeshi was the only one who could figure it out and was transparent in showing me what he was doing. Highly recommend these guys for the 'wierd stuff' that happens from time to time.   On a brief visit to Ottawa our 2011 Subaru Forester exhibited a scrapping noise after being parked outside overnight. I could not see anything dragging under the car but I was worried about driving back to Toronto without checking things out so I dropped into Takaki Automotive before heading home. Takeshi thought the noise (more obvious when making a right turn) was coming from behind the left front wheel. He used a slim bar and a ball-peen hammer to straighten the metal guard behind the disk brake as it seems it had gotten a bit bent by ice freezing behind it during the night exacerbated by me turning the wheel whilst pulling away from the curb. He test drove & straightened the guard a bit more until the noise was gone. I tried to pay for the 20-30 minutes that he spent sorting things out but he would not take my $$. Great service!

  Great quality service you can trust. And they also had a very cute dog hanging out during my last visit. Loved it!
