  Very impressed. The place is well maintained and clean. There is always some one on duty to be of assistance. I was looking for my friends grave and the worker there was able to assist me since the grave stones are all marked by numbers. Thank yo for keeping this sacred place in great shape.

  Alright so first of all, I want to say that I am thankful and blessed that there is a Muslim cemetery finally that is closer to Ottawa, as it's easier to go visit my mother here rather than having to drive all the way to pinecrest cemetery. My issue here is with the flowers and just the social aspect of dealing with the owner and employees. Most of the employees are awesome and just extremely pleasant to deal with whilst others are just a bloody nightmare. When we first buried our mother God bless and rest her soul, she had a stick erected from the top of her grave which displays the number of the grave, acts as a simple marker come winter time so the family and employees know where each grave is. First week after burial, someone took it off and threw it on the ground and made it so hard to find it with all the snow. I barely found it after a grueling half hour in the blistering cold. I put it back where it belonged and left, only to return 1 week later with the same issue and keep in mind nobody else's was touched . Again I found it and put it back but this time I dug it in much deeper to make it harder to be removed. A week later I came back and someone broke it in half. I'm not going to point any fingers because I don't know who did it but this isn't the point, the point is when I called head office to notify them and to have a new one placed, he said no its not needed, I said but I need to know where moms grave is with all this snow and I'm still not yet too familiar to this place. His answer? "you don't need to visit her in the winter". How bout that? I ended up buying my own stick and placing it there. Another issue, everyime we leave flowers, they are removed the next day. It's like they can't stand to see flowers placed on a grave, they should at least leave them until they die. Many more issues but not going to get into it more than I already have. Even with all this, bless you guys for working hard and opening a cemetery close to us here in Ottawa. All the best :)
