  Awesome camera store with great staff! Took my camera in for a sensor cleaning and they had it done in 3 hours dispite them saying they were backed up to the next morning. They offer rentals on equipment and onsite classes, along with all your camera shopping needs. Great place!

  This was a totally pleasant experience. I like that Vistek sells everything AND offers camera cleaning service, and more. I don't know who is responsible for 'customer service', but I think theirs should be shared widely to other organizations. Imagine having such a pleasant experience everywhere!!!

  When I entered the store from the side door on Argyle, there was someone working close by so I mentioned to him i was there to see 'Nick'. Without hesitation, and with a nice demeanor, he got up and walked me over and introduced me to Nick.

  As I was writing this review, I received a call that my camera was ready! Wow! So fast. (When I left it, I was asked 'when' I needed it back. I was prepared to wait until the next morning, but I mentioned that it would be even better to get it back 'today', and I did not REALLY expect that to happen. But it did.)

  When I confirmed that I would bring my camera in to Vistek, the person on the phone volunteered the name of the individual who would be doing the work. That was nice, because already, I knew who to ask for.

  Personnel took us from high knowing we would not pay that much. Got rid of us as soon as was possible. More expensive than other place. You can find better.

  Vistek on Bank street in Ottawa is my photography store of choice. The staff is always courteous and helpful, from the moment you walk in the door. If you meet the store manager, Roger, it becomes obvious why the atmosphere is the way it is. Roger is organized, courteous, welcoming, extremely pleasant and equally helpful; it seems contagious and is reflected in your experience with all the staff. If you need your camera sensor cleaned, Nick is a very pleasant professional with a genuine smile that does impeccable work. Glen Lastiwka is my sales representative of choice; he is a very good listener and offers excellent educated advice. Glen has a wealth of information. If you are interested in photography, Glen will recommend the right equipment and how to use it to its full potential. Given my experience with the competition,  I very strongly recommend that you consult Glen before your next purchase. You will buy what you need and not something you regret buying because you didn't have all the essential information.
