Vibe of the place is Loblaws meets Chinatown. A little dirty but not terribly so. Going at 9 in the morning certainly cuts down on crowds.

Other disappointment was the relatively small section of dishes and cookware.

A great grocery store, if you know what you're looking for. First timers will be overwhelmed by the new sights and smells. Especially if they have not been to a Chinatown grocery store. There are a lot of fresh vegetables that are rarely seen at your local grocery chain or even your Farmers market. If you are trying to prepare traditional East and Southeast Asia cuisine, you will find more than enough of the ingredients here. I enjoy fresh fish, and they do have an excellent selection as well as specials if you are looking for a good deal. They have live tanks where they have various bass fish, as well as live crab and lobster. I even saw some eel. There is also a section for buffet style food, cooked daily. You can sit and eat or take it to go. Parking is super crowded, and I cannot accurately say when a good time to go is. It's always busy. Near the T&T are a few restaurants, including pho and hot pot. Happy hunting!

There’s a huge selection of desserts too and you can order delicious birthday cakes there.

To a western cook, the sheer variety is stunning. I cook Asian food a lot but this place overwhelms me with choices of products I do know and even more I don't.

I absolutely love shopping here. If you're looking to broaden your cooking this is the place to go. Tips: Don't go around dinner time if u want to look around. And you DO want to look around. The service is pretty good and the food is consistently good. Best buns ever!!

Lots of selection of meat, fish and vegetables. The price is a bit lower than the Canadian supermarkets. Although it’s a Chinese grocery store, a third of the shoppers are not Chinese. Every morning before 10am you can get ac4-piece dim sum combo and a congee for $4.50. It’s a lot of food. Every evening a lot of prepared cooked food is discounted to a crazy low price. Same goes with sushi.

Been to this T&T Supermarket when I was in the road trip visiting my relatives in Ottawa. We had lunch at there. We ordered dim sum, chicken leg and pork with steam rice, and the rice was very soggy. Food court was big and clean, but packed with people. Hard to find seat or table after we paid for food. Found the food and drinks we need, overall 3 stars!!!

One big concern though: the bins for the bulk bean sprouts lacked any kind of tongs or other utensil to put the sprouts into a bag. Had to use my hands. They'll definitely be thoroughly washed before I use them.
