  This was my second time at this hotel and I still think that it is a fantastic hotel located right in the middle of downtown. Not sure if I was upgraded or not but I had a nice room with a full extra living room and essentially a full kitchen. Great for extended stays of course, even if my stay was only one night. Staff was very pleasant and we had a late checkout after a rough night of partying. It is not luxurious but is a well located, clean and practical hotel.

  Perfect for size and convenience. Large room w kitchenette includes 2burner stove/oven,full size fridge, sink, dishwasher, counter bar style, 3drawers and pantry with all the essentials i. e pots, pans, can opener, cutting board, spatula, corkscrew and the list goes on... Stemware, glassware, plates, serving dishes, cups, coffee maker w coffee, microwave basically all you need and more from home. Large bathroom w great shower and all the usual hotel toiletries. In all honesty extremely impressed minus one thing.. I brought my toothbrush but no toothpaste and none available when I contacted the front desk. Seems minor but I was a late check in on NYE and everything around was closed. At least I had gum in my pocket. Above par buffet breakfast provided daily wich is included with the room. I've worked in many hotels for many years and this was definitely the most value/quality for your hard earned dollar.. Well done Residence Marriott Ottawa, 5 well deserved stars!

  Excellent location! 5 minutes walk or less from main tourist attractions. Free parking, swipe your room card to get in and out as you wish! Good breakfast, arrive early (before 9am) to avoid lines etc. Full sized refrigerator, stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine etc in the room booked. Bring whatever you want and use the in-room facilities. No restaurant on site, but there is room service available. Great restaurants of all budgets nearby. Convenience store less than a block away. There's a Tim Horton's on ground floor. Small amenities but makes up with a clean, comfy, fully equipped spacious room! Great for family with kids!

  Stayed for a business trip. The rooms are very large, almost unnecessarily so but there's lots of room for all your luggage. The beds are huge and soft and I always get a good night's sleep at this hotel. There is a breakfast buffet that is usually some type of sausage, scrambled eggs and fried breakfast potatoes and a veggie option. It is decent but not great. However it is included in the room price so not bad for a morning snack.

  Perfect location for our outing. Great amenities and facilities. The complementary breakfast was outstanding, from really good coffee, a wonderful scrambled egg pan and even papaya in the mixed fruit.
