  I am not sure why this is so necessary when I had mentioned that I had moved in, was injured and just wanted my main floor cleaned and the two bathrooms- I still had a lot of moving boxes in the way to unpack- so wanted just a basic cleaning.

  Merry Maids attention to detail is very good! Their recent clean included a "deep" clean of our ensuite and I've never seen our shower glass door so clean! Their staff is great, and the last girl they sent was incredible. Wife is happy!

  Worst company to work for.. Stephine the owner/boss acts like a high school student, yells at her staff and punishes her employees when they call in sick. When clients pay for 2 people to clean their house (with an extra charge) she sends 1 and asks the staff to add her name to the sheet to make it look like 2. The company takes advantage of the elderly by charging them for a 3 hour clean when the girls can do it in 1.5 hours or tells us to hide in the bathroom and play games on our phones to make it look like we were there 3 hours cleaning. And also does this with any military clients who are not home while the staff cleans, and unable to witness if they stayed the time paid for. I had to quit working with this company within 5 months of being employed as it didn't sit well and brought me too much guilt. The girls are amazing but over worked and under paid for what they do for this marry maids of Ottawa. I recommend looking elsewhere if your in need of some help cleaning your house.

  I ended up not using my gift certificate that I had been given as a gift as it was for 3 hours cleaning and in the end I got a refund from the gift card co after such bad customer service with Merry Maid.

  I had been given a gift certificate to use their service and saw first that you need to have one of their employees come to your house to do an evaluation visit and what needs to be cleaned.
