  Interesting dining experience. Nice decor at this location. Food tastes good and is different than other franchises. It's a nice change. Staff were professional and courteous. I would say we felt comfortable there. It's a semi-selfserve concept.

  The food was good, it wasn't out of this world, but it was a yummy and warm. The dining experience was hectic and confused, however. I would not visit this location again after our night. I am not sure if this was just a fluke, and that, maybe, usually, things really are spectacular. Other reviews praise this location and it seems like there have been many great experiences for others. Unfortunately from my experience, which was a string of disappointments, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth.

  Half-way through waiting, a waitress came out and told us they didnt have any vegetables left (which we had ordered as our side). They told us this 5 minutes before our meal was brought out. I'm not sure why they didn't tell us this before. It was a letdown, and we ordered another side instead. As well, the waitress told the table beside us about 10 minutes later about their own vegetable situation. I'm not sure why they waited to tell that table.

  I'll preface this review by saying that the resturaunt was pretty full, as it was a Saturday night of the long weekend. My family was very excited to come here, so overall we were patient and understanding; however, the night brought many disappointments. The food was tasty, but I would like to stress the disappointment.

  Cheap cheap cheap. Go to the supermarket, buy some cooked chicken, go next door to whatever get 1 order of fries. Total=max 5$.

  We ordered a family platter. Our bread never came.

  When the food was brought out, they noticed that we had no plates/silverware and asked if we had our bread. We told them no, and the bread was brought out. However, no plates were brought and we sat there for 5-10 minutes waiting for something to eat on. The table beside us got their platter served and a waitress followed behind with plates that were placed accordingly in front of the guests. My brother stood up and walked to the kitchen bar to get our own plates. I know some of the stuff is serve yourself here, but the plate business seemed odd to be self-serve and we watched another table receive theirs.

  The platter came with the large servings of sides. However, our bowl of mashed potatoes barely would have served one. I think the four of us got one table spoon full each. The table beside us had theirs piled high, and I was very disappointed because this was the side I was most looking forward to, and I couldn't really try enough to be satisfied as our rations were small.

  Been there 1 time. Total garbage. Paid 12$ for some fries and bit of chicken. Hilarious is that I told them I want this hot and that translated into them giving me a lot of hot sauce on the side... What the hell...

  I've been to 3 nandos locations in Ottawa. This one was nice for take out and eat in. However, I felt rushed because I was one person at a table while groups of people were waiting at the lunch rush. Felt obligated to eat fast because they brought out the food really quickly. To reiterate, the service was fast! Food was, as always, great. Going there weekly because I work close by.
