1 Star for... variety, the concentration of Korean goods is good, there's a wide variety of products, seasonings, etc. (Similar to what you would expect if you went to a Toronto Korean Supermarket)

1 Star for... Cleanliness, ignore the boxes that litter the aisles, they'll soon disappear as they get organized, the floor is clean. They're new, so I'll give them some time to tweak their problems.

Conclusion: They shouldn't have opened prematurely, advertised their grand opening for today, it was messy. And the free twisted doughnuts were not appetizing, they looked stale.

I went to the store the 2nd day of its opening. It's medium size, with 4 spacious allies, clean and neat. It it's true most of the items don't show prices with the exception of a little corner where the put post-its LOL!

1 Star for... Customer service, both customers and staff greet you as you walk around and shop. They apologize if they make you wait and say plenty of "Thank you's" for making a purchase.

The staff, was nice , and so was the different stuff inside the store. They had a large variety of food that was separated neatly. I could find what i wanted easily as well.

Lots of variety in every section, and all the products seemed fresh and reliable at a reasonable price. Inside of the store is spacious and clean. Staff was very nice and kind.

-1 Star for... Parking. I did the quick parking in the Loblaws lot, dashed over, grabbed some things, and dashed back to the car.

-1 Star for... Price. The prices are slightly/much higher depending on product compared to the rest of Ottawa supermarkets selling identical, similar products. The upside to this: All your Korean needs are in one place. To get the same list of items in Ottawa, you may have to commute to multiple locations to get the same things. (T&T, Kowloon, Win Tai, Arum)... Also, the meat looks partially frozen and extremely overpriced, but I do like the red colour, looks tasty.

Most of the products have no translation, even the nutrition facts are in Korean The sweet and dried sections are amazing....I wish I could read some Korean! But you will find stuff that you can identify like Cheetos! The Frozen section reminded me to T&T but not comparable....well, I could compare if they show the prices lol! I was the only non-North American on the mart....which is obviously predictable since this is a Korean store. You will hear regularly Korean language around you.

The only inconvenience was that price tags were not yet available, but they explained that everything will be ready and organized in a couple of days.

Kind people... though probs would be better after they make a legitimate bakery and a proper 정육점 "butchery shop??" .

It's Seoul Mart's repeat of Target. Half empty shelves, messy aisles, no price tags on any products. Photos will come later.
