  This is an amazing veterinary practice with exceptional staff. From the front desk staff, vet techs, veterinarians, and the practicing veterinary owners, all personnel were knowledgeable and kind. They follow-up with you in a more than timely manner, have great animal handling skills, and are forthcoming about what is necessary treatment and what is not - essentially, they do not try to 'gouge' you financially. I can't say enough great things about Carling Animal Hospital. When I moved to Ottawa from NB I was worried I wouldn't find a practice that was on par with my old veterinarian's office - Carling Animal Hospital exceeded my expectations!

  I don't deny they may provide quality assistance but they are ridiculously expensive. 1500 for a tooth removal and 3k to remove a cyst on a small dog. Worst part is on both occasions I was provided a rough estimate before I came and the price tripled when I sat with them. If you have money to throw away or want to feel confident that your pet is taken care of then I recommend them.

  Very amazing friendly staff. Call over the phone and very knowledgeable staff. I been here a few time now and going to keep going. My cat need help and they were able to help her :).

  So many amazing reviews written about Carling Animal Hospital, that I'm not sure that more can be said. Amazing staff, very kind and considerate. Dr. Keith Johnson is the type of person, pet owners hope will be their Vet. Well informed, knowledgeable, kind, generous and absolutely most importantly, caring. This is absolutely a first class Animal Hospital. We are very lucky to have this available to us. Thank you for taking such great care of our four legged family members!

  I have an 8ft adult male boa constrictor that got a check up with Dr. Auger a few weeks ago and it was by far, the best vet visit I’ve ever experienced! I was so impressed and relieved because vets can be stressful on your animals but Shotty seemed to be completely fine and most of all, calm while Dr.Auger took a look at him. Will deiniftely only be seeing Dr.Auger for anything related to my pet snake. Thank you!
