We used to love this place (went there for 9 years), however with the change of ownership something has changed (not as welcoming as it used to be, and a big change of staff). Also our two favourite vets are gone (Dr Boileau and Dr Black). We've decided to change too.

Dealing with sick animals regularly can be hard for both the owners of the animals and the staff - I appreciate clinics like this being around, even if it's a bit far from where I live!

I'll be going here again and would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area seeking competent pet healthcare.

I just moved to Ottawa and was worried about having to try out many different vets to find a decent one. Luckily, Centretown was the first one I went to. The staff and service is exceptional, and their rates are affordable! They were not pushy with unnecessary services, and the vet was very knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning.

I'm beyond happy with the treatment we received here & how pleasant an experience they made it, for both of us!

I moved back to Ottawa just over a year ago & have been really anxious about finding a veterinarian here.. but, after getting a new pup, I really wanted to find a vet closer to home to take him to.

Booking an appointment was super easy & all the staff we met were quite friendly, helpful, calm and knowledgeable.

Used to bring my cat here but no more. They suck.. Always running late for appointments. Last straw was having a 7:30 appointment and by 8:15 still not called in. Staff didn't even apologize, acted like I was being rude for daring to wonder why its 45 minutes late.. So I just walked out and now I'm going to find a new vet

Edit: [Would prefer if follow up didn't include calling me and insisting booster shots "expire" though-- I don't want to feel like my vet is desperate for money.]

The clinic itself is easy to find/get to- even on foot, very clean looking/smelling, has ample seating (though they weren't packed full with clients as we picked a less busy day, which made for a nice, calm environment for my pup's first big vet visit) & even their clinic cats appeared calm & content.

The doctor was very puctual, easy to understand/talk to and obviously more concerned for animal health & welfare than making as much money as possible.

I recently adopted two kittens, one ended up being very ill (upper respiratory almost constantly). They seemed to genuinely care and wanted to help.
