  The one who cut my other girls hair to donate did a very good job and was a little more enthusiastic!Oh, and I was told I would get a discount on the haircut if it was being donated to locks of love, well, that didn't happen either.

  I brought my girls in to have hair cuts to donate their hair. We had already discussed everything at home and they were quite happy with their decision.

  Instead of praising my girls and telling them how great it was they freaked them out and said over and over how short it would be, I'm pretty sure the one hair stylist just didn't want to do it! One of my girls ended up doing it. The one who ended up cutting the one who backed outs hair did a pretty bad job as well, it's crooked and choppy looking at the bottom.

  My wife and I have been driving in from Ottawa for the last few years to get our hair cut at Allure Hair Design & Spa. Kristina does a wonderful job and is always polite, cheerful and professional. The owner and the entire staff are very much the same. Everyone at Allure is professional and accommodating. My wife uses a number of services and has never been dissatisfied. As a result of the positive experience, and quality service provided, my wife and I will continue to make the drive out to Manotick. It is a drive that is well worth it.

  I was so disappointed with my haircut at Allure this week. What made me really decide to ask for my money back was the insistence of the hair stylist to blame it on me. I have never returned anywhere to have my hair redone so was surprised at the lack of effort to do what I was asking. It was more protecting her skills and not simply saying "yes please sit down I'll re-do to your liking" a pile of excuses and defiance was what I received. It's unfortunate as my husband regularly buys gift certificates over the years there for both myself and his mother. We will not do this anymore. The manager was NOT gracious, she actually corrected me saying "she will take care of the employee internally the way they do" I thought the whole experience was unprofessional and not friendly. Lynne
