  11/10 experience with Harriet. It was my first wax, she made it stress free and the whole situation was super comfortable! I've recommended her and smudge beauty bar to all my friends! Definitely will be a regular!

  When I arrived for my appointment, my esthetician took the time to pick the colour of nail polish with me and provided a very useful recommendation on what colour would go best with my skin tone. During the procedure itself, my esthetician was very diligent and always checked in with me if I like the shape of nails, if I like the length, etc. For the colour application itself (I had shellac), she was very thorough to ensure that it is far enough and that there is no big space between the cuticle and the polish. Just FYI, I find that some places just roughly slap on the polish leaving so much space in between, that a week later you already need to go for touch up as the nail grows out. Not at Smudge, she did a fantastic job! And to conclude on the overall amazing experience a really relaxing hand massage.

  Was not aware of the prices prior to getting a gel manicure, along with "removal fees" even though I was getting another set of gel. Way too overpriced. Picked a nice light neutral colour that I was satisfied with, but not even a week later my nail colour somehow changed into a marbled ugly darker colour? Overall, not impressed with my $80 manicure.

  I desperately needed a manicure, so they were able to fit me in at a last minute. As my luck would have it, I had to reschedule, again last minute, and the staff was very accommodating and understanding.

  Such a warm and welcoming place that I love coming back to. Rachel and Harriet are skilled mani/pedi technicians who take their time to achieve the results you expect. Expect no smudges at Smudge!
