  Bought a mountain bike this year. I also bought a few xc skis in the past and used their wax service. This is a good and reliable shop.

  I recently purchased a bike at Fresh Air. This was my first new bike purchase in over a decade and I wasn't sure what I was looking for. The staff were very helpful with explaining the different bikes and features and getting me onto the right bike, even showing me options well below my budget. I had some minor issues with the bike after I picked it up and had fantastic service the two times I brought the bike in. The staff listened to my concerns and addressed them promptly. They really work to make their customers walk out of the store happy.

  Good store for knowledge of xc skiing. However I no longer do any business there as I was always left feeling like I overpaid. It is a small shop that does not have the small close knit service atmosphere and do anything for you kind of service. In addition, I would recommend other shops in Ottawa over this one to purchase a bicycle as I was not satisfied with knowledge and post purchase bike fit and service.

  Friend walked in, wanted to buy a fixie wheel for his bike, they straight out refused to sell him a wheel because they don't want people to ride fixies without brakes. They impose their opinions to the point where they flat out refuse to sell you something. Very juvenile and sad :(

  Lots of product knowledge, some great deals and people who know outdoor sports. Over the years very little staff turnover. Always a no fuss shopping experience.
