  We had an amazing buying experience with New Car Sales Manager Kyle and salesman Matt. They were extremely helpful, patient and very receptive to all of our concerns. They moved around different vehicles for us to test drive, from different lots and found us the best vehicle fit for us and also gave us the best price. I cannot recommend them and the rest of the Surgenor Team enough.

  Unfortunately, this GM location is not equipped to deal with emergencies. I understand that there can be a longer wait time for cars that are dropped off on an emergency basis, however, there is no reason why customers cannot be treated with compassion. I do not know a lot about cars and have never been in an accident in my life. I blew a tire on the Queensway during rush hour due to a HUGE pothole. I was not the only one affected by this pothole. It was a disaster. My car was left there overnight. I called all morning to try to find out some answers and I either was transferred to voicemail, hung up on or simply told that they had no information to provide. The reason for the panic is that my spouse is away for work, I live in the country with no access to a bus service unless I drive at least 20 min, I work downtown Ottawa and my dog was home alone. My father was kind enough to drive me around. Thankfully, my car was ready by 6 pm at their closing time, however, I will NEVER return there for services EVER again.

  I wanted to commend the service I received at Surgenor St. Laurent recently. My truck wouldn't start in a parking lot and I needed a boost from a tow truck driver. Even though the truck started there was a "Check Engine" light on so I went directly to the Surgenor service department. It was clearly a busy Saturday with only one service advisor and many clients. I had no appointment but the service advisor Chris Stewart assured me they would at least look at the truck that day. It turned out that I needed a new battery and the "Check Engine" light was a separate issue. Both issues were diagnosed and fixed the same day and I was able to collect my truck by 5pm. They managed to take care of my last-minute emergency with no notice on a busy day with limited staff, which was phenomenal. Outstanding service!
