    I will never do business with State Farm again, and I would suggest if you do, get a competent State Farm Agent--not Emily Ren.

    Was a state farm customer for several years, without issues. My credit card was about to expire and I was given a new card with new expiry dates. I phoned Emily to update my credit card information, which she stated she would do. A few weeks pass and I receive a registered letter stating that my policy would be terminated due to failure to pay my monthly insurance bill. On the letter it stated that my termination policy date was Oct 10th, 2017. I phoned billing to try to fix the issue that Emily caused, with no success. I was told by the agent, contradictory to what the letter stated, that my policy was already terminated in Sept. Which means I was a month without insurance, and without any knowledge of this. I phoned Emily to discuss what has been going on, and she stated she cannot help me, that I would need to call head office. I call head office, and they said I can either send them a cheque (only option) or I can pay by credit card through my agent (emily) and open a NEW POLICY.... Several hours on the phone between billing, head office, and emily, only to get back to where I started before becoming a State Farm customer. I paid off my remaining balance ($10.....) and started to go through the steps to acquire a new policy. After everything was done, I received an e-mail stating that since I had my policy terminated, I had to pay my years insurance up-front and that i could only receive a deductible of $2,000 instead of the $1,000 I had. Also, the cost of my plan increased. I was penalized because a State Farm agent failed to do their job properly. Out of principle, I declined the new policy and went with a new insurance company.
