  The Courtyard is located very conveniently off the 417. Our room had two comfortable queen beds and was quite big. It had a large couner with a sink, microwave and mini fridge and a mirror which came in handy when we were getting ready in the morning. The bathroom was also very roomy and nicely decorated. We were in Ottawa overnight for a family funeral so didn't really spend much time at the hotel. We plan on coming back in the summer to visit family and will definitely choose this hotel.

  The service is very professional, they are attentive. This hotel is located a 12 minute walk away to the VIA Rail train station, for those wanting a quick walk to it. The area by the hotel is very quiet, and there isn't much of a chance for crime, since its surroundings are highways and a parking lot. As for the rooms, read other reviews, I only have experience with the location.

  Check in was quick and easy. Parking was free and on site. The rooms were surprisingly large, with a small size kitchenette beside the bed. I went on family day weekend and it was not too crowded. There are all the usual amenities on site (gym, pool, etc.). The hotel is only a short drive from downtown Ottawa and parliament. Overall it was a good stay. Would recommend.

  Decent hotel. However, the decor does feel quiet dated. And the cleaners have the tendency to come knocking on your door at 8am. So let them know that you don't want house keeping so early in the morning if you wish to sleep in.
