  Stayed here for my 3rd wedding anniversary and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Including the rich history of the hotel, the stunning architecture and interior design, the hotel offered a great weekend getaway. The staff were so accommodating and professional (offering advice on good local food stops), the room we stayed in was impeccably clean with a view of the Parliament building. I will definitely be coming back some time in the summer to explore the surrounding area more! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  Another twenty minutes later we were still waiting for her to return and just decided to settle up, it's not worth the cost of breakfast to deal with incompetence.

  When checking out we let the front desk know about the situation. They said to wait to speak with a manager. Twenty minutes later someone came and apologized, explaining there had been some challenges in the kitchen that morning. She said to give her 5 minutes to correct our bill.

  Architecture and location was very nice. The service at Zoe's Lounge was excellent and the waiter was very nice.

  On our second day we ordered breakfast to the room and were told it would arrive in 30 minutes. Over an hour later, a table of cold food and incorrect drinks was rolled in. We contacted room service regarding the drink mix up and were told new ones were on the way, which never came.

  I would only recommend this hotel to people who are in it for the experience, because the pricing is a major turn off.

  The Fairmont Chateau Laurier is a beautiful hotel. I was only there for a daytime meeting, but the areas that I did view were kept clean and classy, as one would expect from the Fairmont brand. Help was easy to find, but not needed as they have clear signage that can be used to navigate. No lines were visible at the front desk. Overall, a lovely hotel. I would go back to stay overnight if the chance came up.

  Bed was fine, pillows weren't great, room was small, $4 delivery fee room room service (excluding tax and tip..) and the food wasn't amazing for its price (specifically the meals we chose at the Lounge)

  However, the pricing on just about everything was absurd. No warning was given on the items in the "Refreshment center" and mini fridge regarding the sensors which automatically charged your room once picked up (within 10-15 seconds to be exact).

  Our room was excellent. Good size, very comfortable bed, well stocked mini fridge, and great bathroom. The service we received however was atrocious.

  Best afternoon high tea experience. David did such a wonderful job giving us tips and advice on the menu, selection of teas as well as suggestions for activities post tea time. My sister got the rosehip black tea and I got the Ontario ice wine white tea - absolutely delicious, and so was the food! They take real precautions with allergies and are very accommodating. Highly recommend with family and girlfriends, and would probably make for nice dates.
