This park is a nice green place to visit in Ottawa and is right across from city hall. There are many festivals and events that take place there, such as the jazz Festival and winterlude where you can come see the ice sculptures. They are always quick to repair the lawns!

Nice park and generally peaceful. During lunchtime the bench fill up with workers on their breaks. Nice fountain and a couple if monuments. Very spacious Luke a little oasis in the heart of downtown.

Pretty green area located near The Rideau Centre and Elgin street. This is a common area with a fountain (great for photos) to sit and have a coffee or eat your lunch in the warmer months. Sometimes homeless people are sleeping on the benches but that’s common in big cities.

The ice sculptures were amazing but unfortunately some of it started melting and breaking off. McDonalds was giving free coffee and Circle K was giving free coffee/ hot chocolate and chips so that was nice. Lots of vendors too. It was fun!
